True Glow is a short film produced through Emerson’s Flawless Pictures organization. Flawless Pictures is a woman of color led organization for filmmakers, and True Glow was its 2023 spring narrative project. I was the director on the project, collaborating closely with the producers and over twenty cast and crew members. Over the course of a weekend, the crew built a dressing room set entirely from scratch in an empty dance studio. True Glow is currently in Post Production.

Logline: High school drama, pageant queen prima donnas. True Glow is a narrative reality TV inspired film featuring three wanna be pageant crown hopefuls who are all competing for the next True Glow Beauty Pageant crown.
